22: Your Turn

Thus far you have been presented with a variety of Web 2.0 tools. Now it’s time for you to teach. You have two choices for this Thing. You can teach someone else how to use one of the technologies covered in our 23 Things Web 2.0 program (Option A) or you can teach yourself a tool of your choice (Option B).

Option A
Teach someone else how to use one of the technologies covered in our 23 Things program and blog about your experience. Who you pick is up to you. It could be a colleague but this is not required. Ideally you select a person and a tool that are perfect for each other but have not met up yet.

In your blog post, discuss why you selected this option and which tool you chose to teach to someone. Were you successful? Did the person appreciate what you taught him/her? Did the person see the value of it? Which aspects of the Web 2.0 tool did she/he like? Do you think the person will use it in his/her personal/professional life?

Option B
Discover your own Web 2.0 tool to explore. Use one of the Web 2.0 directories below to find a Web 2.0 tool of interest. Spend some time to test out the tool.
In your blog post, discuss why you selected the tool you chose. Is it similar to any of the Web 2.0 tools you learned about in this 23 Things program? What aspects make it a "Web 2.0" tool/application? Would you recommend this tool to others? Do you plan on using this tool again?
